Crises come in many different forms and are never an expected part of our lives. There are times we feel lonely, depressed, or as if we have lost our purpose in life and life is no longer fulfilling.
As part of the general ministry to the Church and the community, as an extension of our mission to share God's love with all people, Pastor Mike is available for counseling and pastoral care concerns. It is best to make an appointment, however, walk-ins are seen when Pastor is able.
God and a firm healthy relationship with Jesus is the basis for all of the counseling that Pastor O'Berg engages in.
Mental/emotional/relational issues that cannot be well-served by this method need to be addressed by licensed professionals in those fields.
Pastor O'Berg is not a licensed therapist and does not engage in long term counseling relationships. If your need is more than Pastor O'Berg can provide, he has an extensive referral list of professionals in the area. Pastor O'Berg will refer to Christian as well as non-Christian therapists
If one is referred, Pastor O'Berg remains available to walk along side during the counseling
possess providing the pastoral care that a professional psychologist/psychiatrist cannot.
All conversations with Pastor O'Berg are kept completely confidential and are not shared with anyone without prior written consent.
