The Main Worship Space is entered through the main doors with face out on to the patio and parking lot
Once inside, you will find yourself in the Lobby (called in church-talk a "Narthex)
The Narthex is a place to gather before and after worship, be greeted, and chat with others in the Messiah family.
You can see in this picture that there are large windows into the main worship space. If needed, parents may use this space to be with their children and they will still be able to see and hear the entire service.
Looking to the LEFT, once can see a sitting area for "before and after" worship conversation, one of our information centers and the door to our comfortable meeting area we call the Fireside Room
Continuing into the "Fireside Room" one can see that it is a cozy place for a meeting or just a place to sit, read, meditate, or watch TV. The Fireside room is also wired for sound so that parents may use this room if they desire. There is an assortment of toys stored under the fireplace for your use as well. Soon, we will be beaming in the service via a wireless video network so that parents can see as well as hear the service.
The enterance to the Main Worship Space is through the Large doors that are in the middle of the Narthex.
Our Present sanctuary was built in 1963. It is both large and intimate. The acoustics of the room are excellent and many singing and instrumental groups seek to use it because of its size, magnificent pipe organ and excellent acoustics.
To the left side of the front of the worship space is the Baptism Chapel, the Pulpit and a door leading to the offices. To see the offices, click on the picture.
