May we say "welcome" and again, "Thank you" for taking the time to visit our web site. Not everyone has a church background and the first visit to a church can be an intimidating experience, especially because the image of "church-people" as portrayed in the media is not particularly flattering. We can understand why someone would be hesitant to visit a church - especially if they haven't been in a long time, or if they haven't been at all. We know that you would like to know "what can I expect when I visit Messiah?" At Messiah, we feel that it’s OUR responsibility to “clear the way” for you to come to church. We want you to be able to experience the great music, encouraging messages, friend ly people and enjoyable atmosphere that are a part of the Messiah Family. And we know that your first time at a church, any church, brings up some questions. How do I get there (click here to see) … what should I wear… what’s available for my kids… how do I find my way around (click here for a campus map)...what should I expect in church? Here is a quick look at what you can expect, based on what people see when they visit Messiah. |
“It’s a big warm family, everyone was more friendly than I thought they’d be.”
Here at Messiah, we’ll make sure the first face you see when you approach the church has a smile on it. Whether you looking for the bathroom or are looking for a place to change a diaper, a greeter will be nearby to help you get where you need to go. |

“The message helped me with what I was facing that week.” You'll enjoy upbeat music and practical messages that help you deal with real life issues. We’ll even give you a helpful outline with the Bible passages. What you learn at Worship, you’ll be able to use during the week. Whether you join us once or repeatedly, we want to help you connect with the personal hope and practical help that God can give us.

“I can wear what’s comfortable!” We’re more concerned with meeting your real life needs than with what you wear. So, dress casually and you’ll fit right in. After all, we have a pastor who wears tennis shoes and is covered in dog hair! |
“They asked me NOT to participate in the offering.”
All of the ministries of Messiah are fully supported through the gracious offerings of those who call Messiah their home. The offering is for those who are part of the Messiah family. Instead of wanting you to give something, we want you to get something! As a visitor to Messiah - your presence serves as your gift to us and we ask for nothing more. Come, relax, experience the joy of encountering God. If, in the future, you would like to deepen your relationship with Messiah - we can certainly talk about that in more detail.
